Other Info:
Since this is a b-sides and outtakes compilation spanning the
Gish and
Siamese Dream eras, there
are several different recording dates and locations. The version of
"La Dolly Vita" on the album is
the same one as on the Tristessa single that the Pumpkins released under Sub Pop in 1990.
They had tried re-recording it during the
Gish sessions (December 1990-March 1991) at Smart
Studios but Billy says his "heart wasn't in it" (Source:
Pisces Iscariot liner notes). The Japanese
CD release contains a 4 page booklet wth a Japanese and English lyric sheet for all the tracks, as
well as a translation of Billy Corgan's liner notes, and contains various writings (date November
13, 1996), most likely about SP according to
SPFC.
