-The alternate lyrics are for a version first performed
live during the Gish Tour in 1991.

-Directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Farris +
filmed during April 1994 in Sylmar, California. This
video was the first of many collaborations between
Dayton, Farris and the Pumpkins. The video starts
off with a kid getting a transmission from space. He
then contacts his friends to build a rocket ship. They
collect parts from the dump and assemble the ship.
Finally, they take off into space to the bewilderment
of their parents. As they reach their destination and
the smoke clears, the only thing they see is the
band, who are all now elderly. The band wears
silver firesuits/spacesuits used in Hollywood around
the 40s-50s.
-The Greatest Hits Video Collection features an
alternate performance cut (i.e. it only has the shots
of the band playing, with no narrative shots of the
the kids). During the video commentary, the band
jokes that the old man who played the elderly
Jimmy at the end became famous + everyone
wanted him to be in their rock videos. For more info,
