Released on February 29th,2000 in North America, and the 28th in most of
the world. Released February 24th in Australia and New Zealand. Some versions
released with a 5 track promo when pre-ordered from  HMV.com and Best Buy. A 
7 track promo was given out at select signings and in limited supply at record 
stores in the United States.

As of the third week of January 2000, "The Everlasting Gaze" was #4 on Billboard's
modern rock tracks. "Stand Inside Your Love" reached #2 on modern rock tracks
on the week of March 31st. Machina premiered at #3 on the Top 200 on Billboard,
reached #2 on the World Album Sales Charts on CNN.com. It also was certified Gold on
Billboard on April 18th, 2000.
